We are talking here about Shriya's impending marriage with Rajiv Mallu, her long-time boyfriend. It was no secret in Tollywood that Shriya and Rajiv were seeing each other for a long time. The cozy two-some were a regular thing in many chic parties in the high brow circuit of Hyderabad.Shriya and her boyfriend Rajiv Mallu were spotted holidaying in Hong Kong recently. They’ve been seeing each other for years now, yet Shriya continues to say “We are just friends.” So typical of filmi types.Shriya spent a cozy evening with her boy friend Rajiv Mallu in Touch restaurant of Hyderabad on Saturday. The pair snuggled with a few glasses of 'hot drink' and spent entire evening in chatting. These days, it has become a bold affair for Shriya to go to public places with her boy friend without leaving any ear for gossipShriya was one happy girl when she bagged an offer with Rajinikant in 'Sivaji'. But to act in the film she had to forego many other good films because as per the film's contract she is not supposed to work in any film till the shooting of 'Sivaji' is completed and picture is released. That's okay but Shriya has another problem. On the sets of 'Sivaji', one can't use a cell phone. That means she can't speak to her boyfriend in those nine hours that is the main problem. And her boyfriend is not allowed, for that matter no one is allowed, on the sets.
Before signing up for Sivaji, the two were painting the cyber city red and it is said that there is not a five-star hotel or tourist spot there where they have not set their foot on. Ever since the ‘Sivaji’ shoot started, Shreya, much to her dismay, was finding it difficult to meet her boyfriend often. There was even a time when her beau was denied admission to the ‘Sivaji’ sets. The smart girl that she is, she has packed her beau off abroad. Well, let’s wait and see how they are going to paint the town once again, once Shreya gets back to circulation after ‘Sivaji’.
Sources said that even she requested director Shankar to allow her boy friend to the sets of 'Shivaji'. Yes, Shankar agreed to that!
