Ileana D'Cruz

Ileana D'Cruz is a South Indian film actress. Ileana was born on 19 August 1985 in Mumbai, India.

Ileana real name is Ileana D’cruz. D'Cruz, who originally hails from Mumbai, India, had grown up in Mumbai and currently resides at Goa.

Before films, Ileana was modelling for quite some time and doing ads. She has three sisters and two brothers.Her father named her Ileana, a Greek name. Ileana is a prominent actress in both Tamil and Telugu film industries. Ileana started her film career in 2006.

Ileana first film was Devadasu. Very soon Ileana Became one of the top actress in both Tollywood and Kollywood industries.Ileana rose to fame with her roles in also in Telugu movies Devadasu and Pokiri also in Tamil movies, Kedi.

She made her Telugu language début through Y.V.S. Chowdhary's Devadasu opposite newcomer, Ram but has also done a Tamil language film and has recently signed a Hindi language film.
Her breakthrough came with her second Telugu film where she essayed the role of Shruti, an innocent girl haunted by a corrupt police officer opposite Mahesh Babu in the immensely successful Pokiri. The film not only gained her good reviews but also gave her terrific reach and penetration among audiences in B and C stations. Her chemistry with Mahesh was the cynosure of all eyes. The film went on to being the biggest hit in Tollywood historyThe hottest girl of Telugu film industry, could not make a come back into Tamil films after her forgettable debut in 'Kedi', which did not do well at box office. Ileana then went to tollywood and became a big star. Now she is the most wanted actress of Tollywood and her salary has touched one crore.She was called to act opposite Ajith and Vijay but she could not honor those offers because of the non availability of her dates. She is particularly upset over her inability to accept the offer to act in Rajinikanth’s ‘Kuselan’.

Few days back there was the buzz that the slender beauty Ileana was roped in as the leading lady for the animated flick 'Sultan-The Warrior' starring superstar Rajinikanth but now all curtains have dropped on that. It is heard that the leading lady for this animated flick is the immensely beautiful Vijayalakshmi and currently the shooting is on in a 3D motion capture studio in Hyderabad. The film is directed and produced by the extremely beautiful daughter of Rajini, Soundarya Rajinikanth.
